The Great Lakes Fishery Trust (GLFT) is now accepting Human Dimensions Research and Engagement preliminary proposals. This request for proposals (RFP) process will be used to disburse up to $1.3 million in grants as part of the Ecosystem Health and Sustainable Fish Populations program. The GLFT will consider proposals responding to the research priorities listed below.

Beginning in 2025, the Human Dimensions Research and Engagement RFP will be open in alternate years as the GLFT pursues directed investments in lake whitefish research. The next RFP will be released late in 2026 for the 2027 program year.

The GLFT will hold a webinar on the application process on Thursday, December 12 from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m.
